Hey, lately, I threw an mp4 file to OneDrive and made it available to a number of people. Now, each person willing to watch this file can do so without any problems. The problem occurs when I generate a link to that video (with editing permission) and then send it so someone. When that person clicks that link, Windows Media Player opens automatically and an error message pops up saying something about denied access to the file. Does anyone know why it is so?
First, you need to make sure that you've enabled sharing OneDrive content for external users in the "Share" tab. Then, in OneDrive, you click the three dots symbol and choose "Share". Then, under permission settings, choose editing permisisons.
